If you’ve been thinking about joining Ready, Steady, Write, but have a few reservations, you’ve come to the right place.
I’ve put together some questions and answers that you might have wondered yourself.
If your question isn’t listed here, get in touch and let me know (scroll to the bottom for ways to get in touch). I’ll even add it to this page.
What is Ready, Steady, Write?
It’s my accountability club for female business owners who want to get on top of their content marketing and nail their business goals by becoming more confident and accountable with their marketing, so they can attract more of their dream clients.
As a business owner, you have to wear lots of different hats, including the marketing hat. But not everyone is confident in that area.
Ready, Steady, Write gives you the time to focus on your own marketing, the confidence to show up more, and the ideas to stay consistent.
I’m already a member of other membership groups. What makes this one different?
I totally get it – you’ve signed up to tons of other communities and memberships and you're not short on content. But Ready, Steady, Write isn’t another ‘watch later’ library or endless chat thread. It’s a doing space where you can actually get stuff done.
No ‘I’ll do that later’ or ‘I’ll read that another time’. It’s about building good habits with your content marketing, so you can hit your business goals and attract more of your dream clients. There’s no magic formula – it’s starts with you giving your marketing the time and intention it deserves.
Show up when you can, be lovingly held accountable, and leave each session with real words on a real page.
What even is an accountability club?
Think of it like an online cheerleading session without the pom-poms. Although that sounds less fun!
It’s not about being judged or kept in line, it’s about gentle encouragement, shared momentum and showing up for yourself with a bunch of other gorgeous women who are cheering you on from the side.
At the co-working sessions, attend when you can, check in with the group, set your writing goal, and then we get down to actually writing for an hour.
I can’t commit to two 90-minute sessions each week.
No problem at all. You’re not expected to attend every session – this isn’t school!
Join when you can. Come once a week, or even once a fortnight. It’s your space to use as it suits your life and business.
As a business owner and busy mum, I know how tough it can be to set time aside to work on your own marketing. But I bet you’ll surprise yourself at how much you get done when you have some focused time to write with no distractions.
And if you can’t attend many sessions, you’ll still feel supported and connected in the Slack community – whether you pop in regularly or dip in when you need a boost.
What if I join but then find it’s not for me?
I get it, committing to something new can feel risky. That’s why Ready, Steady, Write is pay-as-you-go and you can cancel anytime.
Try it for a month. Come to a couple of sessions. If it’s not the right fit, there’s no hard feelings. You’ve got nothing to lose…except your writer’s block 😉
